Standard queen bed dimensions for loft bed should fit a queen size mattress. So standard queen bed width is aprox.: 59’’-60’’. It is extremely important that standard queen bed frame will be solid and sturdy. Check your standard queen bed size if it fits to bedroom dimensions.

I agree that loft beds are unique space savers. But loft beds do not fit to every family. We have 4 kids and 2 bedrooms, so purchasing loft beds are not in our plans. It’s a good idea to check the dimensions of your bedroom before the purchase. Take in account that even if your loft bed is standard (like in this case - queen) you need to verify the length, width and the most important – height. Measure twice.

I agree that loft beds are ideal for small rooms. If you have special requirements – it is a good idea to check if loft bed could be customized: if you can adjust desk or shelves height. Today standard is that you could change those things. This queen size loft bed does have adjustment feature.

I have two standard queen size mattresses with. Do they fit to your standard loft queen bed? Btw mattresses dimensions: length 79’’: width 59’’: height : 11 ¾’’ . I’m concerned about the height? Will it fit?
