HTC have announced their third touchscreen cell phone, the HTC Touch Cruise (formally known as the ‘Polaris’) a 3G Windows Mobile 6 powered mobile device which comes with integral GPS, mapping supplied by none other than Tom Tom and their finger friendly TouchFlow navigational interface.
The Touch Cruise, which is powered by a 400MHz CPU and based the Qualcomm 7200 chip set, and is due to become available later this month as an unlocked device in Europe, features 128MB of internal memory (which can be supplemented with Micro SD cards), a 2.8” 240 x 320 resolution touchscreen, a 3 megapixel rear mounted camera supplemented by a smaller, front mounted camera for video calling, 3.6Mb/s 3G HSDPA connectivity and integral Wi-Fi.
